Make AI text sound like you without chasing detector scores
Replace generic prose with actual details, preserve meaning, and build a small voice reference from your own writing.

To make an AI draft sound more like you, supply your real details and examples of your own writing. Edit the claims and the voice directly. A detector score does not tell you whether the draft is accurate, useful, or faithful to your intended meaning.
Diagnose what feels generic
Look for sentences that could appear in almost anyone’s article: “In today’s fast-paced world” or “This powerful solution changes everything.” Ask which situation, person, or consequence the sentence should name. If there is no specific information behind it, cut it rather than swapping in a more colorful slogan.
Build a voice reference you own
Choose two or three short samples you wrote and have the right to share. Mark observable habits: sentence length, directness, use of examples, and how you express uncertainty. Do not ask the model to imitate a living writer’s distinctive voice when your own samples can define the task.
In a fictional update, “We are thrilled to announce a seamless new experience” becomes “The new form saves a draft when you leave the page.” That revision works only if draft saving is an actual feature. A concrete sentence must still be verified.

Check whether the edit sounds like something you would actually say. Remove conspicuous synonym swaps, deliberate typos, or invented personal memories. They can make a draft less trustworthy without making it more personal.
Follow the disclosure and authorship rules of the setting where you use the work. This workflow is for improving communication, not concealing prohibited assistance. If the draft still lacks a point after the voice pass, return to the substance: what do you know, what are you trying to say, and what does the reader need?
